Commissary Supervisor - Nights

Pay & Benefits

  • Current Department of Labor Wage Determination Rate: $20.39 - $23.00

Schedule

  • This is a full-time overnight position, totaling 35-40 hours per week (Potential salary).  Monday – Saturday 8pm – 5:30am (ending time varies depending on case load), with Sunday night off and an additional night off during the week.

  • This is a Working Supervisor role – will be required to understand and perform Floor Care functions with crew.

  • Reading UPC codes to accurately place product in the designated area

  • Bailing cardboard as needed.

Main Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly cleans, details and sanitizes meat-room facility. 

  • Required to wear a wet suit.

  • Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes equipment.

  • Re-assembles equipment.

  • Moves equipment in and out of the meat-room.

  • Removes trash.

  • Performs floor care including sweeping and mopping and using a scrubbing machine according to the schedule currently once per month).

  • Must be cautious and follow procedures when handling/protecting sensitive (electronic) equipment

  • A Grounds Maintenance worker to maintain, repair, and provide service on all grounds service areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and attractive.

  • Some prior experience operating lawn mowers and trimmers preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to pass NAS Whidbey background check at time of hire and for duration of employment. Felonies will prohibit base access.

  • A clean driving record and valid driver’s license preferred, but not required.

Main Responsibilities

  • Mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, aeration and fertilization; weed and brush control; flower bed services; tree and shrub pruning; debris and ditch cleanup.

  • Picking up and removing all rubbish, debris, and trash.

  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.

Main Physical Requirements

  • Ability to endure up to 8 hours a day of standing, walking, and working on steep inclines such as hills and un-level ground.

  • Ability to work in diverse weather conditions (e.g., wet, cold, and hot).

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. / push and pull up to 70lbs.

  • Must have good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and good sense of balance.
